Overview
The best way to help children learn is to make learning fun. The kindergarten programme at The Lahore Alma is based on this philosophy. Spoken skills, fine and gross motor skills, reasoning skills and observational skills are developed to foster self-reliance and independence. To achieve this aim students are kept engaged in meaningful, activity-based, hands on learning sessions in and outdoors throughout the day. To help students develop social skills and to foster team spirit most of the activities are group oriented.
Classes I- IV (Primary Section)The focus during this stage is on cognitive development. Critical thinking along with analytical, organizational and sequencing skills are developed to enable children to apply concepts and ideas taught. To achieve this end students are exposed to a large variety of text styles for comprehension interpretation. Interactive, hands on teaching methods are used to keep the students engaged and motivated.
